Minnesota Building Codes - Monday, April 16, 2012This blog addresses the numerous abuses of building inspectors, their failure to follow ministerial and operational (day-to-day) duties, and their retaliation when you dare to question their decisions. The building codes themselves are overly burdensome and costly. The ability to earn equity is lost on the numerous drawings, specialists, and delays incurred in the building process. A bad inspector can derail and kill your project. The question is -- will you let them get away with it? Almost everyone does. Follow this site and see how the battle in court generally plays out...
Speak up and challenge your building inspector to follow his own rules... Write your legislators, attorney general, and anyone else that will listen. Why should someone else decide if you should succeed or fail? read more ... Are things better or worse from the end of 2008 to now? Take a look at the U.S. Debt clock from both years and you decide.
The following figures for 2008 (end of Bush's term and the beginning of Obama's) and 2012 were found at http://usdebtclock.org/2008.html. Take an honest look at the figures and decide for yourself if this is the hope and change you were looking for. The U.S. National Debt increased 63% ($9.59 to $15.60 trillion); Gross Debt to GDP increased 49% (69.616% to 103.38%); Revenue to GDP fell 14% (37.13% to 32.01%); Spending to GDP rose 95 (39.88% to 43.65%; U.S. Imported Oil rose 43% ($347.92 to $496.40 billion); Oil Imported from OPEC rose 26% ($156.28 to $196.48 billion); Official Unemployed rose from 5.85% to 8.91% (8,512.872 to 12,734,654); Actual Unemployed rose from 9.24% to 15.72 % (13,436,929 to 22,475,901); U.S. Workforce decreased from 47.91% to 45.67% (145,497,215 to 143,051,915) even though the population grew 3% while 2,445,300 individuals disappeared from the U.S. Workforce; Food Stamp Recipients rose from 9.73% to 14.93% (29,531,331 to 46,756,733). At the end of 2012 we are staring at a $20,744,000,000,000 ($20.74 trillion national debt). This comes from a national debt (April 8, 2012) of $15.635 trillion U.S. National Debt, Deficit Spending of $1.321 trillion, and $3.788 trillion in interest.
Also: Stimulus spending has never worked to improve economic conditions and Obama's administration wants to continue this dangerous trend; increased regulations have been 5 times more costly under Obama's administration; global warming is termed by many experts as a scam (note Canada's withdrawal from the Kyota agreement); green energy's time has not come, nor will it in the soon future; racial and class warfare is at all time highs; scandal after scandal is being found (Solyndra; Fast and Furious; Black Panther voting interference; manipulation of inflation and unemployment figures); and abuse of Executive Privilege.
This isn't about being a Republican, Democrat, or other Party member. This is about the future of America. Can you honestly say you are better off?

Local author Marvin Pirila is destined for a breakout with his latest book, The Sarcastic. This book will make you laugh, admire his courage, and sit on the edge of your seat wondering what's about to happen next.
This comedy is about Allan, a 30 year-old working dead-end minimum wage jobs, who finds notoriety through his everyday need for being sarcastic. So far he has done nothing, gone no where, and expected to achieve nothing. To his family and the world he is the joke. A good woman changes everything, but to be together and succeed they must escape her dangerous ex and his criminal connections.
Allan is a natural born prankster with biting edge sarcasm and the willingness to back it up - to extreme. Allan has a good heart and a temper for fun. He will take any dare or challenge thrown his way. Allan doesn't need any help finding trouble, but with the friends he has, he finds more than his share.
The Sarcastic is now available on Amazon for just $17.99. This is the third book by author Marvin Pirila and arguably his best.
